The laboratory carries out innovative research closely around the three research directions of stem cells and nerve injury regeneration and repair, stem cells and aging, and stem cells and cardiovascular injury repair. At the same time, the laboratory is also focused on cultivating high-quality researchers. Currently, there are 26 permanent staff, 6 full-time seniors, and 8 associate seniors, including 20 researchers with doctoral degrees, and 12 people with overseas study or visiting backgrounds. , including 2 provincial-level training objects of the "Thousand-Hundred-Ten Project" in Guangdong Province, 2 outstanding teachers in Nanyue, 1 high-level talent in the Yangfan Program of Guangdong Province, and 1 leading talent in technological innovation in Dongguan.
